Hey all, I was just wondering what your worst hotel experiences have been. I think the worst for me (it's not that bad), was when I went back to my hotel room late, and I was trying to turn on this lamp when I think I hit the circuit breaker? or something on the cord. All the lights went off and I had to wait for the person to come up and fix it. And I was dead tired too!

I can look back on this now and laugh, but when it happened it wasn't so funny! I came back into my hotel room pretty late at night, around midnight and I look outside only to see a man on my balcony (my room was on the 3rd floor!!!) Needless to say.... I screamed, along with the girls who were with me, and we all ran out. The story was that he was on a youth trip and was sneaking out of a girl's room, naughty naughty!!!

I just remembered another one. Once, this wasn't at a hotel but in a house, but there were people in the _base_ment/downstairs and they were playing poker or something and were loud as ever. They were so noisy the entire night I wanted to go down there and yell at them.

Easy. A hotel in Amsterdam that required us to walk up 5 floors just to reach our room. No air conditioning, tv, radio or anything else that a civilized person would consider necessary when staying at a hotel.... yech.

I don't remember where we were, but I was like 12, and I went to the bathroom at the hotel, and behind the door was a used pair of mens and boys undies. YUCK! We never stayed in Motel 6 again.
