Taggart One of my favourite Christmas stores is in Niagara-on-the-Lake, in the downtown area.

The store is open selling Christmas decorations year round, and we usually visit it when we're in the town. It's an interesting novelty for us in the middle of summer, but I can only imagine what it's like to work there and hear the "seasonal" music all the time.
Lyndsey It's a toss up for me - between Prague markets and their chestnuts roasting outside and the market in Dresden,Germany, which seems to span the whole length of the city's core with its crafts, trees and treats.
berlinlife06 I've been in many places, but there are 2 that I remember very well as great Christmas market: Berlin in Germany and Barcelona in Spain. The stuff they offer is not as important as the food and the holiday ambiance. Of course they are "outside" and the need to bundle up is inevitable!

On the other hand, being in New York City as a whole is fantastic. The lights and the store decorations are totally worth it.

What are your favorite places?
