TripAdvisor recently held its second annual air travel survey and the results are in. Over 3200 U.S. travelers were surveyed on a wide range of topics and their opinions were duly noted. Leg room was an issue for many and 25% of those surveyed would like to see more leg room. With all the recent addition of new fees for nearly all major airlines, 56% of respondents said they want no more fees. When it comes to overweight passengers, 74% said that those who are overweight should have to pay for an extra seat. Other areas surveyed include the following results: 30% would be more likely to take a flight with inflight WiFi. Other areas of interest that were surveyed include carry-on baggage, full-body scanners, the preference of male to female seat mates, the preference for small talk, preference for window vs. aisle seat, and what annoys travelers in the airport. |
