On Saturday, March 27th only, you will not need an appointment to apply for a U.S. passport at a regional passport agency. You will be able to apply for either routine processing or pay an additional $60 for expedited processing.

Passport-themed events for adults and children will take place at regional passport agencies and thousands of passport acceptance facilities around the country. If you have been waiting to apply for your U.S. passport, this is the time.

Hours of operation will vary by location. you can find the hours as well as information on fees and how to apply for a passport book or passport card on the U.S. Department of State web portal.
