Skiers are always looking for the very best and cheapest access to the slopes and there are a number of airlines and airports that are stepping up and offering the best deals this year. The following airlines are offering ski deals and ski packages: British Airways, Austrian Airlines, bmibaby, easyJet, Flybe, Helvetic Airways, Ryanair, Swiss, and Snowjet. Ski packages are generally for the lesser known, but still wonderful ski destinations. Some of the suggested destinations include: the village of Alpbach; Bankso, Bulgaria; Baquiera Beret in the Spanish Pyrenees; Chamonix; St. Francois Longchamp; Laax; the village of Flachau, Austria; Flaine; and Anzere. Many of these towns are in Switzerland and they are all fantastic ski destinations. Remember that the smaller carriers tend to have higher baggage costs although many of them will allow one pair of skis or one snowboard per person per flight.
