Smithsonian Magazine's 6th Annual Museum Day

This year, on September 25, the Smithsonian Magazine's 6th Annual Museum Day will see more than 1000 museums, art galleries, historical sites, and other cultural institutions do away with their entrance fees and allow visitors to enjoy what they have to offer at no charge. The museum day and its program is sponsored by CITGO Petroleum Corp.

This is a great way for families and individuals to enjoy some of the nation's best and most exciting displays of the history and culture of the country. Those who wish to take advantage of the fun need only to visit www.SmithsonianMag.com/MuseumDay and print out a ticket for each venue they wish to visit.

There are participating venues across the country, including the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago, the Boston Children's Museum, the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum in New York City, and the Miami Zoo. In addition, the more than 6500 independently-owned and operated CITGO stations will be waiting to help families fuel up for their day of fun.
