South African Airways will Fly Non-Stop to Beijing
Tuesday, 13 December 2011
For the first time ever South African Airways (SAA) will be flying non-stop from Johannesburg, South Africa to Beijing, China. These new flights will start in January, with the very first flight departing from Johannesburg on January 31, 2012 and arriving in Beijing on February 1. SAA is aiming to open up its network into Asia as Asia is one of the fastest growing markets in the world.

The new air service between South Africa and China is a result of increasing cooperation between the two countries, who have developed a strategic partnership in areas of housing, health, education, transportation, the utilization of water resources, and the construction of infrastructure. The new flights between South Africa and China will increase tourism and trade in those countries and the surrounding regions.
