Mardi Gras is almost upon us and what better way to celebrate than by traveling to a new and exotic location and taking in the sights and sounds of the local celebrations. This year HotelsCombined.com has announced the best places around the world to party it up with the locals and celebrate Mardi Gras in Style. Of course, New Orleans, Louisiana is on the list, with its famous two-week festival featuring the parade lead by the “Kings” and “Queens.” Then there is the famous Carnaval of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with dance competitions and the Samba parade. Parades and celebrations also happen in other favorites, including Sydney, Australia; Venice, Italy; Cologne and Dusseldorf, Germany; Toronto, Canada; and St. Louis, Missouri.
