The museums are usually closed on Sundays, save the final Sunday each month when the admission is free. However, the Guardians of the Vatican Museums made the suggestion that the Governorate of the Vatican City State donate the fees collected from selling admission tickets to the homeless families. They agreed and the museums will be open on May 10 from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm, with the last entrance allowed at 12:30 pm that day. The adult admission price is €14 ($18.60).
