Tuesday morning was met with heavy fog at the Toronto Pearson Airport, which resulted in more than 80 flight cancelations. In addition, Porter Airlines canceled a number of flights departing from the Toronto Island's Billy Bishop Airport. Porter flight cancelations include the following destinations: Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec City, Chicago, Boston, and New York. Environment Canada says that a deepening low-pressure system is moving across Southern Ontario and into Quebec and this is causing the heavy fog. In addition, a wind warning is issued for the GTA for Tuesday night with winds gusting up to 90 km/h. Passengers are urged to check in with their airlines before making their way to the airport.
