United Airlines Launches Mobile Check-In
Thursday, 18 March 2010
Paper boarding passes are becoming a thing of the past with United Airlines as the company announces the launch of their new mobile check-in. This new method of check-in allows business customers to check-in from their hotel or from a meeting, saving them time once they reach the airport. The service is available to all passengers flying on United or United Express within the continental U.S., the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico.

The mobile boarding pass feature is available to United customers departing from Chicago O’Hare International Airport, San Francisco International Airport, Los Angeles International Airport, Denver International Airport, and Washington Dulles International Airport as well as airports in airports in Dallas-Fort Worth; New York LaGuardia; Las Vegas; Philadelphia; Orlando; Portland, Oregon; Phoenix; and Seattle. Customers who check in using mobile.united.com will receive an email with a link to mobile boarding pass that include a 2-dimensional bar code that can be scanned at the gate when boarding.
