With the combined networks of United and Continental Airlines, United Continental Holdings, Inc. has announced the introduction of a number of new non-stop flights in 2010. These new routes include Continental flights between Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston and Bakersfield and Palm Springs, California; Grand Junction, Colorado; Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Montreal, Quebec; Hobbs, New Mexico; and Reno, Nevada. In addition, there will be new non-stop flights from the Cleveland Hopkins International Airport to Cincinnati, Ohio, and from New York/Newark Liberty to Des Moines, Iowa. United Airlines will add new flights from Washington Dulles International Airport to Grand Cayman in the Cayman Islands, Louisville, Kentucky; Salt Lake City; Minneapolis/St. Paul; and Tulsa, Oklahoma. The airline will also initiate new service from Los Angeles to Austin, Texas; Denver International Airport to Amarillo, Dallas Love Field and Lubbock, Texas; and from San Francisco International Airport to New Orleans. The airlines operate about 5800 flights per day to 371 airports across six continents. |
