United Continental Holdings, Inc. has made things easier for their passengers to check-in for their flights. Those passengers traveling internationally can now take advantage of mobile check-in and mobile boarding passes using their web-enabled mobile devices, such as an iPhone or Smartphone. Check-in can be anytime within 24 hours prior to departure and is available to those passengers traveling from the U.S. to international destinations as well as passengers departing for the U.S. from London, Amsterdam, Munich, Moscow, Brussels, Zurich, Geneva, and Osaka. Addition cities will be added in the near future, including Hong Kong, Tokyo Narita, and Frankfurt. The mobile boarding pass displays passenger and flight information along with a 2-dimensional bar code that is validated via scanners at security checkpoints and the boarding gate. When the boarding pass is refreshed it will show any changes to seating or any other flight information. |
