This summer will see millions of dollars in new rides and attractions at amusement parks, aquariums, waterparks, and more. These new rides and attractions will include things such as salt water adventures, waterslides, incredible new roller coasters, towering swing rides, and so much more. According to Susan Mosedale, executive vice president of the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA), families will be able to enjoy millions of dollar worth of new attractions, rides, and even entirely new parks from California all the way to the Carolinas. A few of the new attractions include The Little Mermaid Ariel's Undersea Adventure at Disney California Adventure, the Cheetah Hunt at Busch Gardens, Jellies at Shedd Aquarium in Illinois, and Kahuna Bay at the Splish Splash Waterpark in New York. Over $50 billion in revenue goes to the nation's economy from the more than 300 million people who enjoy these amusement parks each year. |
