USA Today is making its travel website bigger and better and to celebrate they are holding a sweepstakes contest that will determine the best travel destination in the U.S. There will be 32 destinations to begin with and each week readers will be allowed one vote for their favourite. Through five weeks of voting, only the most popular destinations will move forward.

Voters will be eligible to win a $500 airfare credit from Orbitz.com for each vote they make and voters whose destinations make into the final week will be eligible to win a $2000 airfare credit, again from Orbitz.com. The contest begins on May 28 and contest entry and details can be found on the USA Today website.

The new USA Today travel website will offer visitors a chance to find travel news, tips, and information so that they can plan their trips more wisely. There is also the ability to connect with other like-minded travelers and be involved in community.
