Virgin Atlantic's Red entertainment platform has recently undergone some upgrades and changes that will make passengers' experience even more convenient and exciting. New amenities are now available to passengers, such as upgrades to Google Maps, a new “open-tab” service that connects to the airlines on-demand menu, and the availability of inflight shopping with Red Store. Red Store allows seat-back shopping of many top brands and is powered by SkyMall. The Google Maps upgrade will allow multiple levels of zoom and will allow passengers to access terrain maps in order to see the topography over which they are flying in real-time. With “one-tab” passengers can swipe their credit card once and run a tab for all food an beverages purchased for the duration of the flight. In addition, Virgin will suggest food pairings that will be able for a discount and they will also have a custom cocktail bar called Cocktails with Attitude, which will allow passengers to order custome-made cocktails. |
