Friday, 09 July 2010 |
For the third year in a row the “Best Domestic Airline” award has gone to Virgin America as voted in the Travel & Leisure Annual World's Best Awards readers' survey.
The awards are determined from the results of a survey that the readers fill out based on their own travel experiences. When it comes to airlines, readers are asked to rate them based on 4 criteria, which include customer service, in-flight service, value, and cabin comfort. In celebration and thanks for the award, Virgin America is holding a Three-peat fare sale, the details of which will appear on their website and on Twitter. The airline launched its service in 2007 and has won numerous awards since then due to its low fares and fabulous Main Cabin amenities, including leather seating, mood-lighting, touch-screen seat-back entertainment, and at-seat power outlets. The Main Cabin Select also includes dedicated overhead bin space, extra comfortable seating, priority check-in, complimentary drinks and food, one piece of baggage checked for free, and unlimited access to the Red entertainment platform. |
