In April, Virgin America will begin to offer non-stop flights from Philadelphia to California. The airline is one of the most up-to-date, with WiFi access, seat-back touch screen Tvs, and mood lighting. With the addition of the new flights, passengers flying into and out of San Fancisco and Las Angeles will be able to enjoy a temporary drop of about 30% in fares. There will be three daily round-trip flights to Las Angeles and two daily round-trip flights to San Francisco. Introductory fares from Philadelphia to Los Angeles are as low as $129 and those from Philadelphia to San Francisco are as low as $149. David Cush, President and CEO of Virgin America said that the routes were attractive as they are high-fare routes and more than half the passengers fly non-stop between the destinations.
